What We Believe

WE BELIEVE IN EACH OTHER

Everyone who comes through the doors of our church will be accepted, loved, and supported as they grow in their relationship with God. We are His Church, the Body of Christ, all with different spiritual gifts to contribute. He encourages us to meet together, support one another, and serve together. We are empowered, by Jesus, to tell others about His love and promise to return. In doing this, He also commanded us to love all people just as He loves all of us.

WE BELIEVE IN CARE

As imperfect as humanity is, God still gives us the privilege of being part of His work.  As followers of God, we answer His call to be stewards of the earth until He returns, we have a duty to care for it. That also includes taking care of each other and ourselves; caring for our minds and bodies which in turn nourishes our spirit.

WE BELIEVE IN ETERNITY

Christ’s return is near, and with it comes the end of death and sin, and the redemption of those who accept the gift of God’s salvation. We will enjoy a millennium in heaven and return to a earth restored to the paradise it once was, for us to enjoy for eternity while communing face to face with our God.

WE BELIEVE IN GOD

Our Creator God is love, power and splendor. He is three-in-one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, mysterious and infinite—yet He desires an intimate connection with humanity. He gave us the Bible as His Holy Word, so we could learn more about Him and build a relationship with Him. We hold that the Bible is the ultimate rule by which we should live our lives.

WE BELIEVE IN RESTORATION

Lovingly designed as perfect beings, God created humans in His own image with free will and dominion over the earth. But sin crept in through temptation by Satan. Now humanity’s perfection is tarnished, our bodies and minds corrupted. Our once-idyllic world continues to be in a constant struggle between good and evil.  Fortunately, God redeemed humanity through His Son, Jesus Christ. He has ultimate victory over sin and death and restores us. One day he will come and restore our earth to its original state of beauty and perfection.

WE BELIEVE IN SALVATION

Because of Adam and Eve’s sin in the garden, all of humanity was born into a condition of sin, but God so love us He sent Jesus to die for us, so that all who accept Jesus death on the cross can be reborn into the condition of Grace. If we choose Him, He promises to guide us with His Holy Spirit and will never forsake us.
